Each year is a step forward
Following a record-breaking 2015, the year which ends in less than 2 weeks from now has given us a chance to grow further, coming even closer to our end-user customers and global distributors. At our headquarters in Faenza we have taken on new staff at all levels, investing in human resources as a key value for the future. We have successfully introduced new solutions and worked towards perfecting our service standards to ensure our national and international customers receive the fastest and best possible technical support wherever they are, whatever they require. In particular, this year has been rewarding for the Italian market, as well as most European markets, but we have also worked hard behind the scenes to consolidate our overseas business.

Looking ahead to 2017
The label & packaging sector will not stop evolving in 2017, that is for sure! Factors driving such a buoyant evolution range from innovation in terms of print & packaging technologies to specific marketing tactics that major global brands are adopting to target customers, track their habits and move in line with stricter regulations to protect consumers. Digitization is a key theme: it enables printers to customise to an unprecedented degree. This responds to brands who wish to combine targeted packaging with digital marketing campaigns or simply what to achieve high-value personalisation. Digital solutions, so-called smart packaging as well as sophisticated materials and processes are enabling complex labelling solutions which require versatile converting platforms, able to handle an increasing variety of situations.
What we are witnessing in the label converting industry is likely to accelerate over the coming years, so our most recently developed solutions are in a position to respond to these growing needs. DIGIFAST is already a name to be reckoned with on the market after its initial launch at LABELEXPO EUROPE last year. Saturn OMNIA is one of the most successful multiuse finishing platforms we have ever created. Finally, consumers and market regulations are coming to the forefront. Quality converting, productivity, zero downtime are objectives that will increase in importance (if that were possible) so at PRATI all our efforts are focused on technological solutions to help grow our customers’ business, ensuring competitive answers that defend and boost their market share.
Join PRATI at next year’s tradeshows
2017 will see a number of key events. Before the autumn’s major rendezvous in Brussels at LABELEXPO EUROPE, we will be present at the 2017 DSCOOP events, and in March at Gulf Print & Pack in Dubai preceded by the International Print Media Exhibition in Barcelona.
We will be launching new solutions and further enhancing our global coverage, but there will also be a few surprises we cannot reveal today….
