What motivates a customer to purchase a machine? Negotiations can last for months, starting with initial interest, approaching the subject, gathering information, studying it, evaluating the return on investment, and in some cases, experiencing the uncertainty that leads to questioning… Did I make the right choice?<\/p>\n

In the case of Sungwon Adpia Co. Ltd. (a company based in Seoul that produces flyers, brochures, business cards, posters, labels, booklets, banners, and various promotional materials), the interest arose during the Prati open house event „The digital experience“ held in Faenza on June 22-23, 2022, where the DIGIFASTone (a fully digital finishing line for both printed reels and die-cutting) was seen in action. At that time, it was configured to produce limited edition labels for white wine, bottled by the Faenza winemakers Leone Conti and designed for the event by packaging designer Mario Di Paolo. On that occasion, the DIGIFASTone stood out for its high productivity but, above all, for its great reliability, a „genetic“ quality that characterizes Prati’s entire portfolio.<\/p>\n

When trust is established, half the work is already done, and that was the case for Daewon Jeong (Director of Sungwon Adpia) and Changhee Jeong (General Manager of Sungwon Adpia) who, after seeing it in person, decided to purchase it. This initial interest was followed by a study of the customer’s real needs, the materials for which the machine would be used, and the expectations in the target market, which led to its installation at the beginning of 2023.<\/p>\n

In April, Chiara Prati (CSO of Prati Company) and Nakyeon Cho (Managing Director of Muller Korea, the local distributor) celebrated the full operation of the first DIGIFASTone in Seoul, together with the two leaders of Sungwon Adpia.<\/p>\n

But that was just the beginning. The machine not only proved to integrate perfectly into the existing production reality but also exceeded expectations to the extent that the South Korean company decided to purchase another one. And this time, it was seen in action in Brussels.<\/p>\n

The „handshake“ at Labelexpo Europe 2023<\/h2>\n

I met Daewon and Changhee Jeong, along with Nakyeon Cho, at the Prati booth, where the sale of the second DIGIFASTone was celebrated with a toast.<\/p>\n

I asked them what convinced them to choose this option.
\n„The first element,“ Changhee confided, „was Prati’s extensive experience in the narrow web industry, as well as the IT process security provided by the Futura platform, the compact design, extreme precision, and robustness“.
\n„Thanks to digital printing,“ added Daewon Jeong, „the DIGIFASTone seamlessly integrates into our production, and we saw great growth opportunities for our business.“
\nThe machine can work with materials ranging from 12 to 300 microns using 2 laser modules, and thanks to its fully automated setup without the use of plates and magnetic cylinders, it significantly reduces the company’s operational costs.
\nBut as I spoke with all of them, I understood that behind the handshake that led to the signing of the two contracts, there was much more. Something that goes beyond the machine: it’s not just about trust (which is the foundation of every negotiation), but also about seeing the love for one’s work. In short, that passion that drives you to overcome your limits.
\nAnd in the end, the difference, compared to other solutions on the market, was not only a matter of technology, but also of people… and in this case (let me say it)… of Chiara! The smile and the expression in their eyes confirmed it.
\nThe next step is to become number one in the target market, thanks to the DIGIFASTone!<\/p>\n
