Letra Graphix invests in the sixth Saturn for high-quality labels
Letra Graphix continues to focus on quality and cutting-edge technology and invests in its sixth Prati machine, a new Saturn, which will be installed in the first months of 2026.

We asked Nirav Shah and his son Sahil, respectively the founder and director of Letra Graphix, to tell us the reasons behind this choice. An overview also came from Sunil Talpade, owner of Royal Coat, who closely monitors the collaboration between the two companies.
Reliability, build quality, fast support and technological innovation are the reasons that make Prati a strategic partner for the production of self-adhesive labels, used in sectors ranging from cosmetics to pharmaceuticals. The partnership between Prati, Letra Graphix and Royal Coat is built on trust, teamwork and attention to detail in finishing.
Sahil Shah, Director Letra Graphix, explains:
“Our experience with Prati has been extremely positive: the machines are reliable and high-quality, and whenever we needed support, we received responses within 24 hours. It really makes a difference. That’s why we decided to purchase a new Saturn, our sixth Prati machine, which will be operational in the first months of 2026. And we plan to adopt more in the future.”
For which applications will the new Saturn be used?
Sahil Shah: we will use it to perform label inspection, slitting and rewinding. We already have other machines of this type and they have proven to be extremely reliable.
On this model, moreover, the FASTCUT system will be integrated, an automatic cutting system that will allow us to double production speed, further improving efficiency.
Which sectors is the production intended for?
Sahil Shah: the Saturn will be used in the production of self-adhesive labels for numerous sectors including cosmetics, pharmaceuticals, agrochemicals, food and many others.
We can work with multiple materials, including labels with PET liners. And on this I want to be very clear: for labels with PET liners, Prati is the best manufacturer.
Our experience to date with Prati, both with the machines and with the people’s know-how, has been wonderful. They are always welcome at our company and I wish Prati ever greater success.

Nirav Shah

Letra Graphix in 2025 celebrated a record year…
Nirav Shah: yes, we received an important international recognition. We won not one, but three awards: Digital Printer of the Year, Label Printer of the Year, and Packaging Converter of the Year (PrintWeek Awards 2025). And it is truly a special achievement. Each award is a reflection of an extraordinary team that innovates, challenges limits and gives its best in every project. I am grateful to Sahil Shah, Anushka Shah and our incredible team, and of course to the customers who entrusted us with their visions. We will continue to create, evolve and lead with innovation, placing creativity at the center of everything we do.
How would you describe the collaboration between Letra Graphix and Prati?
Sunil N. Talpade: the collaboration between Prati and Letra Graphix has been going on for many years and is born out of great mutual trust, especially towards Chiara Prati. Over time we have tried to fully understand their requirements and this has turned Letra Graphix into a loyal customer, probably one of the most devoted.
What I appreciate most is their openness to collaboration: those who work with Letra Graphix are always ready to engage when there is a need. Nirav, for example, never says “no” to a request: first he analyzes the problem, understands the customer’s needs and then looks for a solution. From the very beginning he believed in teamwork, and I fully share this approach. Without collaboration and support, you go nowhere.
What sets Prati apart from other machine manufacturers?
Sunil N. Talpade: Prati is one step ahead of competitors. It quickly understands customer requests and acts accordingly. It invests heavily in research and development and is constantly committed to improving service.
It is also the only company that offers well-structured customer support: if we have a problem, with a simple WhatsApp message we are immediately directed to FASTLANE. This means solving issues in real time, and that is exactly what customers need today: fast and efficient service. In this, Prati is doing an exceptional job.
And then there is Chiara: she knows every customer, and when her name is mentioned people’s faces light up. It is a genuine feeling that extends to the Prati family, all over the world.
What innovations has the latest Saturn generation introduced?
Sunil N. Talpade: I have seen the evolution of the Saturn range and I am very confident. The market demands ever higher speeds and Prati is perfectly aligned with these needs.
In the SATURN Next, for example, the camera is able to recognize the defect and correct it automatically. In the past, manual intervention by the operator was required, with the risk of discarding even good labels.
Today, instead, the machine removes only the defective label and the cutting and splicing operations are completely automatic. The result is production without wasted time and with 100% compliant labels.
This means truly being one step ahead, looking to the future and to the evolution of printing machines. If printing must be excellent, why shouldn’t finishing lines be as well? They are the last machines before the label reaches the customer, and therefore the most important.

Sunil Talpade and Saturn Next
Prati in one word?
Sunil N. Talpade: Trust.
The customer knows that what they get lives up to the value of the machine: value for money, quality and security. One is willing to invest because one knows what will be received in return.
And above all, there is no fear that someone will call in the middle of the night for a production problem. With Prati, you can truly sleep peacefully.
A vision that is also confirmed by the thought expressed by Sunil in his philosophical card: “Quality in a service or a product is not what you put into it. It is what the customer gets out of it.”

I would like to conclude by thanking everyone for these words and extend a special thank you to Nirav Shah. I had the opportunity to personally experience the approach Sunil speaks of (his availability towards customers and teams) during the distributors’ dinner organized on 13 septembre 2023 at the Ristorante Rocco Forte Hotel Amigo, in Brussels.
It was not “just” a dinner to celebrate Prati’s 50th anniversary with its business partners: it was also an opportunity to thank each of them, with culinary excellence as the backdrop.
I had just arrived and did not know any of the people present. By chance, I was seated next to Nirav, who introduced himself to me as a “friend of Chiara”. He took the time to help me remember the names of the distributors and customers in the room (#QLM, #Rodden Graphics, #Saprograf, #Digital y flexo, #Prati USA, #LetraGraphix Pvt Ltd, #Royal Coat, #Printech ME, #Performance Packaging, #Raining Labels, #In-print out, #FPE, #GPS and #Kisscut) and, thus, between courses and the photos taken to also tell the story of the beauty of the team and the context, I wrote my first post, with his recommendation to include the smileys as well!
He could have limited himself to performing his role, instead he took care of me with a spontaneous gesture of kindness that conveyed so much of who he is. That evening I understood that Nirav’s leadership is not made only of competence and vision, but also of genuine attention towards people. And this is probably what makes Letra Graphix so special.
“For Prati,” comments Chiara Prati, CEO & CSO Prati Srl, “having a customer who returns for the sixth time is a source of great pride and testifies to a solid and long-lasting relationship over time. Customers like Letra Graphix are not only partners, but part of our family. Every new machine installed is a sign of trust that grows and strengthens year after year.”
